Kitchen
China set
Full sets of everyday china are hard to sell and easy to donate. The exceptions are named patterns, complete sets and pieces from makers collectors actually follow.
Estimated resale range (used)
$20 – $100
Sample range. This figure is an illustrative placeholder for the prototype. It is not a verified sold price, a dealer offer, or an appraisal.
What matters when you check it
- The backstamp on the bottom of a plate identifies the maker and pattern; photograph it before you list anything.
- Chips, crazing and dishwasher fading are the usual reasons a set is unsellable.
- Splitting a set is often worth more than selling it whole, but it takes months instead of days.
Sources and confidence
No verified price sources yet. This record has not been researched against sold listings, dealer price lists or auction results. When it is, the sources and the date they were checked will appear here.
Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
