Books
Used books are heavy, slow to sell and mostly worth very little. A small number of titles — first editions, signed copies, textbooks still in use — are worth the trouble of checking.
Estimated resale range (used)
$0.50 – $5
Sample range. This figure is an illustrative placeholder for the prototype. It is not a verified sold price, a dealer offer, or an appraisal.
What matters when you check it
- Scan the ISBN of anything that looks valuable instead of guessing from the cover.
- Ex-library copies, book-club editions and water damage all but remove resale value.
- Boxes of ordinary paperbacks are a donation, not a sale; moving them costs more than they are worth.
Sources and confidence
No verified price sources yet. This record has not been researched against sold listings, dealer price lists or auction results. When it is, the sources and the date they were checked will appear here.
Before you sell anything, look at sold prices rather than asking prices. Asking prices are wishes; sold prices are evidence.
